TacAero’s Fixed Rear Seat upgrade for the stock sling seat was designed and developed for extended two person operations, comfort and features aircraft grade construction with a quick release mechanism. The front bar is upgraded with additional tiedown supports into the aircraft floor and sleeved for wear protection while maintaining compatibility with the original sling seat. A rear connection plate is added using the seatbelt tiedown points. The seat locks into steel capture points that double as additional robust tiedown points. Quick removal of the entire seat and base plate in seconds is done by pulling the spring loaded pins out of the capture point, rotating up and removing from the front bar. When rear seat comfort and control and feel are critical, this upgrade is a perfect solution.
